Role 1: Social Media Content Creator (Part-time)

You’ll be our go-to creative voice across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and beyond — designing thoughtful, engaging content that reflects the lived experiences of Muslim women, sparks meaningful conversation, and promotes Taahirah’s evolving work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating Reels, graphics, and stories that are visually engaging and community-focused
• Scheduling weekly posts and supporting campaign rollouts
• Using insights and analytics to guide creative decisions
• Monitoring DMs/comments and responding where needed
• Keeping content fresh with emerging trends and formats

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is confident using Canva, CapCut, or similar content tools
• Has experience growing social media platforms with purpose
• Writes and designs with clarity, compassion, and creativity
• Understands the cultural and faith-based sensitivities of our audience
• Can manage their time independently and contribute to team brainstorming

Role 2: Digital Marketing Manager (Part-time)

You’ll lead our digital marketing strategy across platforms — from social to newsletter and blog — ensuring our voice is consistent, our content reaches the right people, and our brand continues to grow with integrity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, newsletters, and blog
• Leading a small team of content creators or freelancers and coordinating collaborative campaigns
• Using analytics to monitor performance, refine strategy, and report on growth
• Planning and managing digital launches (e.g. app, podcast, article series)
• Supporting the wider team with event promotion, community-building, and partnership visibility

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within values-driven or health-focused brands
• Knows how to lead campaigns from idea to execution, balancing strategy with creative flair
• Is a clear and confident communicator, comfortable managing people and projects
• Understands our audience deeply — especially the nuances of culturally and spiritually sensitive health content
• Is confident with tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Later, Canva, Trello, and more

Compensation & Contract Terms

This is a freelance, fixed-term position for a period of 3 months. The agreed payment will be made directly to the candidate on a freelance basis. Please note:

• The total fee for the role will be confirmed upon offer and paid in instalments or as agreed.
• As this is a freelance contract, you will be responsible for handling your own tax, national insurance, and any other personal expenses.
• Taahirah is not able to provide tax advice or cover any additional costs related to your freelance work.
